Hello Rob,

Great question, the fact alone of you opting for a MacBook Pro pretty much covers everything you will need for editing your Go Pro videos and then some. You will definitely want an i7 or above processor (higher core count will get things done faster) the rule of thumb regarding CPU VS Memory is that you will benefit more from a faster CPU over the adding more Memory. Splurging for the i9 processor in the MacBook Pro would be money well spent.

You will however want to get a large external hard disk drive or NVME Flash storage to keep everything backed up as you may find yourself running out of space with the 512GB of storage.
