I would suggest moving over to gmail. Create a new gmail account and after doing so, send a bcc email to all of your aol contacts sharing your new gmail address. Check back on your aol account from time to time to catch anyone who has not started using your new email. Also dont forget to change your email for any services you use like banks, or streaming etc..
