Hello Ronald Jakubowski

If you let your battery die while the computer is in Hibernation, this is expected.

It seems it is also happening to other users, tap or click here to see how to modify your settings for what action happens when you cloese the lid.

1. Go check if your “lid closed” action option is still properly configured.

-Open the Control Panel by searching for it in the Windows search box.
-Click on “Hardware and Sound” and then “Power Options.”
-Click on “Choose what closing the lid does.”
-Under “When I close the lid,” select the desired action for both “On battery” and “Plugged in.” The options are “Do nothing,” “Sleep,” “Hibernate,” and “Shut down.”
-Click “Save changes” to apply the changes.
