Hello Nancy,
This error indicates something is wrong with the boot record on your storage device. Which in turn may Indicate a faulty storage medium SSD/HDD. If there is any data on the computer that you care about, you first should make a backup of the disk by using an external Hard drive and a bootable Macrium Reflect USB drive.
First, install Macrium Reflect on a working computer tap or click here. Download and install the Free Trial. Then, create the USB media recovery drive, click here to see how.
Now you will need to create an image of your drive in your computer, tap or click here to see how.
Now that you have a backup of your data or if you don’t care about the data you can now create a Windows 10/11 USB drive. Tap here for the installer, this covers Windows 10 and 11.
Now you can boot the USB drive and attempt repair or reinstall, both solution’s directions can be found here.
Lastly if you reinstall Windows and have the same issues, you may very well have a bad storage medium which could be a Hard Disk Drive, an SSD, or even and NVME.
Tap or click here for software to test your disk.
If you have any questions, let me know.
