Want to help Ukraine? Here are a few ways to tell if a charity is trustworthy
Bobbie from Colorado Springs, Colorado wants to donate to help the people of Ukraine. They learned that the National Bank of Ukraine is collecting money to help people … but Bobbie isn’t sure how safe the website is.
I told Bobbie to check out organizations like Charity Navigator, the Better Business Bureau and Global Giving. These three organizations help you recognize which charities are legit and which ones are scams. Tap or click here to spot fake Ukrainian aid sites before you donate.
Give through their website to just be safe and always pay by credit card or check, I told Bobbie. I also told them to check out this handy Marie Claire guide to helping Ukraine.
