Two ways to monitor your garage
Gary from Seattle, Washington wants a camera he can set up over his garage door so he can check to see if it’s closed or not. He wants something he can check on his phone so he doesn’t have to walk a long way to check it in person. However, he doesn’t have any electric outlets he can plug the camera wires into.
I gave him two options. First, he can use a smart sensor that is capable of opening and closing the door remotely. The Refoss Smart Wi-Fi Garage Door Opener comes with a magnetic sensor that tells you if it is open or closed.
Next, I suggested a camera like the Alcidae Garager 2. This camera can open and close the garage via its cloud app.
