Oh, one more thing…. When I’m away from home, I NEVER use a public WiFi connection, I always use my AT&T phone’s hotspot function (it is set up securely). Do I still need to have my VPN active when I’m on my phone’s hotspot? Thanks!

Thanks, John….. that is what I needed to know. Also, as a followup, my Norton VPN has been disconnecting at least every 2 hours on my Spectrum ISP, so I’m notifying them today of this and hopefully can get it resolved. Blessings…..

Evidently, Spectrum must have done something as when I reconnected this afternoon, it hasn’t disconnected yet. I’ll watch it and post again as I see how it develops.

BUT, there’s still my second question…. Do I need the VPN when connected to my own router at home OR only when I’m on shared WiFi outside the home? Thanks….
