      I have another post concerning my VPN that is not staying connected on my home Spectrum ISP’s service. I’m thinking that this is because my internet connection is occasionally dropping and when it re-establishes, the VPN does not automatically load, so here’s my question:

      Is there an app or desktop program that will send an alert or notification if my internet connection is lost for any reason? This would help me notify my ISP of this and therefore warrant a service repair call. Thanks!

      Recently had a similar problem, and the “fix” was to go into the VPN’s settings and manually set it to launch/connect “on start-up.”

      Update…. I had an old version of Norton 360 VPN. When I installed the new one, all works fine and stays connected. Thanks to everyone!
