Add QR codes to wooden sign posts to better inform visitors
Greg from Taylorsville, North Carolina has a horse farm with tons of events. He wants to upgrade the wooden signs for the named trails so visitors can have an easier time getting around the property. Greg called my show and asked for advice on adding laminated QR codes to the signs.
First, Greg should make sure there is cell service on the trails. Otherwise, the QR codes won’t work. He may need to expand his Wi-Fi signal throughout his property. Luckily, I know just the tool for the job.
Assuming this isn’t an issue, I gave Greg a few suggestions. Firstly, I told him to check out Google’s My Maps feature. Tap or click this link to learn how to create home maps.
Next, it’s time to create a QR code that sends visitors to the digital map. Use this QR code generator to get the job done.
Alternatively, I told Greg to check out NFC tags. Here are four easy ways to use NFC stickers.
