alphabetize directory contents
How do I alphabetize the contents of a directory? I use Windows 10 as well as Windows 7. Should not matter. How do I alphabetize the contents of a folder I open in File Explorer?

Hello Bill,
To sort your data by filename and alphabetical order, in Microsoft Explorer.
Open the folder or library that you want to sort in the File Explorer.
Go to View on the top and expand the View ribbon by double clicking on it (or ctrl+F1) Click Sort by, and then select Name, then click Ascending.
I also like to use the details view myself, hope that helps!
