    I am a Mac User, unfortunately my Mac is older, Mid 2012, and EOL’ed at the Catalina Version 10.15.7.

    I have been getting attacked by the AssistiveFileID virus and my virus software is not detecting / removing this file(s). I have been able to search the Applications folder and find it “Sometimes” but it comes back and I cannot always find a file.

    Is there a better way to find the file and remove then and is there a way to prevent them?

    Tap or click here to see a writeup on removing said infection. Running Combo cleaner then removing the infection from your web browsers as well.
