About a year or so ago, I found I couldn’t access my Facebook account. Don’t know how or why, no notification from them. I have tried many ways to get back in, but what always stymies me is when they tell me to go to an “authentication app” for a code. I have no idea what that is. It is more than mere inconvenience at stake here, I could be compromising the safety of a foreign missionary. I desperately need to get back into that account so I can delete some posts. I haven’t seen anything here that directly addresses my problem. Somebody help!

When you are presented with providing a code from the authentication app, does it offer you alternative methods of verification, such as a text message?
