Q&A Forum > Advanced Tech Support >
About six months ago I lost the ability to follow the “view post” link from emails announcing a new post in “Advanced Tech Support”. When I follow the link it takes me to a login screen. My id and/or password are not recognized by this dialogue box and so I cannot follow to see the new post. Have I missed a change or the creation of another login for the forum?
Joseph, com-stg.komando is a testing site we use to try updates and code pushes before we go live. Did you get that link from an email?

Hello Jeremy,
I have had the same issue that Joseph is experiencing.
When I receive an email notice from Komando Community forum: New post in “Advanced Tech Support”, whether I’m on my tablet or pc I am taken to the website then asked for my login information. After putting in the correct information I am told my login information is not recognized.
Today is the first day in a while that I have been able to click on the link in the email & have the link not only take me to the topic in the email, but allow me to login. Today, after I clicked on the link it brought me to this topic, allowed me to see the topic and when I went to reply I clicked on the login, my login information was recognized & allowed me to post this comment.
Hopefully I provided sufficient information to help.
Thank you,
Ken
Jeremy,
I’ve got an update / additional information for you. I just tried clicking on the link in an email notification regarding a new post in Advanced Tech Support from June 11, 2024 by Komando Community – stg user TestJay Dee added a post named “123” to the topic “Advanced Tech Support.” I am taken to a sign in request. After I enter my information and click on sign in, it cycles back to the same page.
I attempted to include a snippet, but the reply box would not accept the paste.
Thank you,
Ken
Shortly after jeremy replied to my post the emails from Komando Community began arriving with a good link to the forums.
Thanks Jeremy
