    In settings it shows that I can auto or manually configure my VPN. Which is best? I notice when I am online with my VPN on it slows down my Internet connection quite a bit. I am in a rural area so I have satelite service, does that make a difference?

    The automatic setup is recommended by ExpressVPN. If you find the connection is slow on one server, disconnect and try another. It could just be an issue with that particular one.
