Unfortunately, the batteries are built-in and they can not be replaced. However, the dashcam is meant to run on power at all times so we do recommend using the power cable when operating the device.

I need advice for a dash cam that will survive in the Southern Louisiana heat?

My last one was a “name” cam, it overheat every time used, then the lcd browned out. It was wired into the car.

Is capacitor instead of battery a option?
