I’m a college instructor who will need to teach remotely this fall. I want to use a Canon EOS Digital SLR camera as a webcam to stream on Zoom. The computer I’ll use is a 5-year-old Windows 10 laptop.
I know I need a video capture card with an HDMI input and USB output, but am confused about exactly which card would work best.
The Elgato Cam Link 4K looks good, but won’t accept any of the somewhat older Canon cameras to which I have access (which include a T3i, 1D Mark 4 and an original-version 7D).
My goal in using a DSLR as a webcam is to have the flexibility of using interchangeable lens.
