Do I need Wifi?
My twelve month contract with Comcast/Xfinity, for TV and Internet, ends in three weeks.
I will cancel TV and use YouTube TV, or Hulu, or some other streaming service.
I would also love to cancel internet.Can one “cast” to a TV, (Vizio P659-G1) from a phone, (Galaxy S-21 5G) WITHOUT wifi?
I’ve read something about “guest mode on Chromecast”, but in google home app, guest mode is not available from my built-in Chromecast/smartcast.Do I really need wifi?

Gregory, the built-in smart cast in your Vizio may not support guestmode, BUt you could purchase a standard Chromecast which would allow you to mirror your android, or use guest mode.
