Does Amazon send links to phone?

      Tried to sign on to Amazon and received a link via text. Afraid to click on it. Is this fake site? Tried two different browsers and tried both Amazon.com and Smile.amazon.com and got same thing. Usually they send a 6 digit number to my email, never to text.

      Hello Jean,

      Yes if you have your phone number in your Amazon profile then your phone number is being used for two-factor authentication. Enter the code you get on your phone when you are trying to log in.
