I don’t see a Netflix app for my MacBook. When I search for downloadable content on the Netflix site nothing comes up. Is there a way to download Netflix content to my MacBook? I can do it on my iPad but would like to do it on the MacBook. Thanks.

Bummer. There is no Netflix App for a Macbook. You can watch Netflix in your browser… but that’s not downloading.

The workaround is to download movies on your iPad and then Airplay them over to your Macbook. It’s not elegant but it works.

      Hope this helps,
      Kim

Thanks Kim. I wonder why Apple doesn’t offer a Netflix app for Mac. I guess they want us to buy movies from the Apple Store.Very frustrating!

You might want to have this recent article edited:
How to download and watch streaming movies and TV offline
      BY RUBEN CIRCELLI, KOMANDO.COM

      It says:
The following devices support Netflix downloads:

      A Netflix streaming account, and
An iOS device running iOS 9.0 or later, or
An Android device running 4.4.2 or later, or
An Amazon Fire device running Fire OS 4.0 or later, or
Windows 10 Version 1607 (Anniversary Update) or later, and
The latest version of the Netflix Apple iOS, Netflix Android, Amazon Fire, or Netflix Windows 10 app

It makes it sound like any iOS device will download from Netflix. But we know this is not true.
      Thanks.
