I bought a Model L6171 EcoTank printer about 4 years ago, and now the LCD display has developed round dark patches. The printer and scanner still work, but it is hard to see the links to add paper, to scan or copy, etc. I bought the printer in Costa Rica, where I live, and I believe that the LCD problem is caused by high humidity, since my house is not air conditioned. I think that I will need to replace the printer soon, but I need to know about what models are compatible with the L405 ink refill bottles, since I have a large quantity and don’t want to waste it. If I could get a list of Epson printer models that can use L405 ink refills, I could look for a replacement from the list. I have tried searching on line, but the information about compatibility is not readily available. Can anyone help?
