Does anyone know an easy way to extract the audio files from a mov file? I am trying to fix files to submmit to the radio station of my husband’s sermons. I had been using a hand-held recorder, but it picks up too much noise. Once the recorder are a few months old, they start adding their own noises to the recording. This makes it take days to edit and get out the noises. Also, if you have any suggestions for a beetter recording device I’m all ears. It’s a very small church with a limited budget.
It sounds like you are using a Mac. You will want to use the program Quicktime. Once you have the .mov file open in quicktime you can do the following to extract audio only.
Choose File >> Export >> Audio Only
