My photos and documents are no longer being uploaded to iCloud because my storage is full. I don’t want to pay $10.00 more a month to increase the storage. I have over ten thousand photos and I have iDrive installed so my photos on my computer should be backing up as well as the photos on my iPhone when I back it up to my computer. Can someone please tell me how I can remove all my photos from the iCloud and NOT have the photos upload to the cloud? Thank you.

      Hello Sandy,

Such a great question, firstly we need to make sure you have everything synced from iCloud. Click or tap here to see how to verify your data is synced.

Once you photos are synced with your computer you will then want to confirm iDrive is backing up your photos directory, you can click or tap here to see how.

To remove you device from backing up to iCloud you can click or tap here, there is also information on purging your photos from iCloud if needed.
