    How to send a DM on X and are DMs always private messages?

    I started visiting X recently and find it confusing. If you want to contact someone there, is sending a DM the best way to do that, and are DMs always private messages? Also, is there a link or website that provides beginner’s info (the equivalent of X for Dummies, lol) for using X? Thanks.
