Approximately 75 percent of my iPhone passwords do not sync properly on windows. These faulty entries contain usernames and passwords but password title and website addresses consist of series of hexadecimal numbers. These entries cannot be deleted in windows, nor is the website functional. If I identify the real entry on my iPhone and delete it, its faulty entry in windows gets deleted. If I reenter the password entry on my iPhone, a new entry appears in windows with the correct username and password, but different title and website numbers. Apple Support has not been able to resolve so far. Please understand that iCloud for windows passwords worked perfectly a month ago, so problem may be associated with iOS 18, or a windows security update. Any ideas how to resolve my problem?

    Hello John Sandgren,

What application are you using to sync your passwords?

I recommend using Google Chrome web browsers on both of your devices while being signed into your Google profile to achieve the best sync between the Apple and Microsoft ecosystems.

From what I can determine, iCloud for windows and its password app is not reliant on browser support. However, in answer to your inquiry, I use Echo on my desktop and either safari or DuckDuckGo on my apple devices. I need to be clear that last month it all worked great. Something happened in either the windows environment or the iOS environment. I have uninstalled/installed the icloud app many times with same results. All the sync issues seem to be associated with a series of passwords I logged on Oct 9th. Recent passwords seem to sync normally.
