I have to join a business Facebook group. I am technically “logged in” to Facebook, but it requires a photo verification in order for me to access anything on Facebook. That page has rejected every photo I have submitted, over 17 of them, over and over again, taken in good light, clear, not blurry, centered on my face, following all of their instructions. None of their trouble-shooting articles address this. There is no way to contact them for help. There is a chat for Meta, but you have to be on Facebook to access it, and I can’t get on Facebook. I have tried creating new accounts. I have spent hours going through their help articles with no success. Does anyone have a way to contact them for me?

    Hello Eli Dumitru,

I think what they are looking for is Photo ID verification, A drivers license or a Passport should do the job.

I’ve tried the selfie picture procedure but it doesn’t work. It mentions documentation needed but there is no way to enter a file with a passport, etc.

David, Eventually I found this email address: appeals@fb.com . However, I was doing all of this from my computer, and even that email address didn’t get a response until I tried logging in from my cell phone. Eventually that combination led to me getting on to Facebook.

John, The photo I.D. part went fine. It was the selfie that wouldn’t go through.
