Someone started a new Instagram account using my name with numbers added, then used an old Facebook pic and is now sending msgs to family and friends on Instagram. I have reported a number of times to Instagram but they just say there is nothing this person is doing that is against Community Standards, and that is the end of it, they give me no other recourse to address this or tell them this person is being me to others. I can’t find a way to contact them, any ideas?

    Hello pmccurry928,

Sorry to hear this is happening, have you filled this form here. Once that is submitted Instagram will request the fake account holder to prove they are who they say they are with some for of ID or take down the account.
