Instagram Profile is A Mess
Hi, I recently tried to set up a profile page on Instagram and somehow wound up with multiple duplicates of the same photo and the link to a music video no longer works. I tried google for instructions to fix it, but the advice provided did not work. Thank you so much for your assistance.

Hi Pamela, apologies for the late reply, here’s the answer:
Duplicate photos can happen when a post accidentally uploads multiple times (often from a slow connection or double-tapping “share”). To fix it:
- Go to your profile and find the duplicate posts
- Tap the three dots (•••) in the top right of each duplicate post
- Select “Delete” on the extra copies, keeping only the one you want
- If they’re actually one post with multiple photos in a carousel that shouldn’t be there, tap into the post, and if it’s yours you can delete it and re-upload with the correct single photo
As for the broken video link, this could be a wide range of things – the original uploader could have deleted or hidden their video, it could have been flagged for copyright content, or the URL changed. Try double checking the URL of the video you are trying to link to make sure that works.
