I have received a threating e-mail using from someone using my e-mail address. He accuses me of going to porn sites which I have not done and wants money. Not going to pay, but what should I do? Is there a site to report this type of threat. Is there a software tool to check for a key logger and to remove if found. If I change passwords and there is a Key Logger installed on my system, won’t the new passwords be passed on to the person who installled the key logger?

    Hello Jerry,

If all you have seen is an email then it is safe to ignore, however it is best practice to scan your system with your Antivirus and Antimalware software. Total AV is capable of doing this if you do not have any security software installed.
