    Hi,

I was recently super excited to hear the full show had made it to Alexa in the form of a skill, but was soon disappointed. The skill requires you to purchase another full-rate subscription to the Komando Community through Alexa, and doesn’t give you the option to log in with the account you’re already paying for. It also doesn’t let you pay through Amazon Alexa, then use the Community online.

Please, fix these small problems, and the skill would be wonderful!– I’ll be able to listen to Kim on my Echo without having to Bluetooth connect my phone.

I hope someone finds this helpful!

    Hi Jake,
Sorry for the confusion. The Amazon Alexa Skill subscription and your Komando Community subscription are not part of the same membership. A subscription to listen on the Alexa does not include a Komando Community membership and a Komando Community membership does not include an Alexa subscription.

You can still listen to The Kim Komando Show on your Alexa device if you’re a Community member. There are 2 ways to do it:

    1. Download the podcast episode to your phone and connect to your Alexa speaker via Bluetooth and play the episode.
    2. Download the podcast episode and add it to your Apple Music library. Make sure you have the Apple Music Skill enabled on your Alexa and ask it to “Alexa, play The Kim Komando Show on Apple Music”.

Ok, I didn’t know that… thanks for the help and I’ll be sure to try the Apple Music thing.
