I’m trying to help my dad move photos and documents from his phone to his laptop. He has a Windowss 7 machine that is ancient and I’m encouraging him to get a new laptop. He asked IF we can do the same thing (move pics and docs from a phone) with a tablet instead of a laptop. I said, good question. Let me ask the pros. Thoughts? Thanks.
Thanks for visiting us on the forums, what kind of phone is your dad using? As long as he stays in his ecosystem eg. Android vs IOS (iPhone) then he should not have any issues.
Once you let me know what kind of phone he has we can determine what other options are available.
I’d go with either a Samsung tablet or a Fire HD tablet. If you sign into the same google account on both devices then both devices will have their data backed up to Google Drive.
You can tap or click here to see how to use Google Drive to backup photos.
