  Mac Desktop Icon configuration

  I want the desktop icons on my IMac to be in ascending name order, starting with the letter A, but when I choose to arrange them by name, they are in descending order, starting with the letter Z. I’ve looked for a way to change this, but can’t find it, even on YouTube… thus I’m turning to friends of the “Digital Goddess” for a solution.
