I would like to know if you have recommendations for an alert system necklace that has fall detection, GPS, and microphone/communication in one pendant? Looking for rapid response, accurate fall detection, and ease of use for the wearer.

If you mother is on the go I recommend the Mobile Help Solo. This will work wherever she goes and they do not charge for equipment only for monitoring.

Another solution worth looking at the Phillips lifeline.

Thank you so much for your incredibly quick reply! I looked at the Mobile Help Solo. I like the concept, but wondering if you know of any other technology with an all-in-one unit like Lifeline. My mom has Lifeline now, and she is looking for an alternative, because she believes the response time is too slow. If these recommendations are already top-of-the-line, trusted services, it’s fine if you don’t have other suggestions.

Karley- While I’m only semi-computer literate I recently learned that some hearing aids have the ability to detect a sudden fall and place a call to a designated phone (i.e. EMS, family, etc). I believe it works through Bluetooth. You might search around your area for an independent audiologist who can help further. Good Luck!
