A family member is selling their family business and needs to dispose of office equipment. Can you tell me if model HP LaserJet MFP M227fdw has memory like the newer printers-fax machines have. If so, the memory would need to be erased by setting it back to the factory default settings. I would need to know how to do that as well. What year was this machine available? Thanks for your help.

You are correct there is information saved in the printer that should be wiped, you can tap or click here for information on performing a factory reset of the device.
