  I use Apple Mail to access both my Hotmail and my Gmail. This week, Microscoft sent a notice about 3rd access to email but i don’t understand it and am mot sure it affects what i am doing.

  Hello Christine,
  
  You will have to disconnect your Hotmail account from Apple Mail and then add your account again using the Microsoft Exchange option with your Hotmail credentials.
