Hello, I think I need some help.
I had signs of problems, with emails with gift card disappearing, along with validation ones.
So I ran Microsoft’s msert
and it found I think over 150 ‘infected’ files!!
but when I checked later, after it had completed, it congratulated me for having found NO infected files!!!
Huh?
so I thought maybe it fixed them –but when I restarted msert, it showed the same ‘infected’ files within minutes.
So now what please?

Where is the program saying it found the files? and I want to confirm what application you are using along with what operating system.
Is the application Microsoft Security Essentials or Microsoft Security Scanner?

Once we have this information we can better assist, additionally if you reboot after cleanup and scan again are the files still found?
