  • Need Help: TotalDrive Cloud Storage Appears Unreachable and My Data Is Trapped

Posted by Lesley on May 31, 2026 at 4:51 pm

I’m trying to determine whether anyone else is experiencing problems with TotalDrive cloud storage and whether there is any way to recover data stored there.

I signed up for a one-year TotalDrive cloud storage plan in July 2025 after hearing about a promotional offer. I didn’t begin actively using the service until October 2025, when I started moving files off an older Windows 10 computer.

Everything worked normally for several months. Then, around mid-March 2026, I noticed red “X” symbols appearing on files associated with my TotalDrive account. Shortly afterward, I lost access to all of my cloud-stored data.

Since then, I have been unable to access the service. Login attempts fail, synchronization no longer works, and I frequently receive SSL/security warnings when trying to reach the website. I’ve also had no success contacting customer support. Emails go unanswered, and I have been unable to find any reliable way to reach the company.

The account contains important personal documents and irreplaceable family photos, so I’m extremely concerned.

    My questions are:

    1. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue with TotalDrive?

    2. Have you been able to recover your files or contact support?

    3. Are there any tools, methods, or steps I can take to determine whether my data still exists on their servers?

    4. If a cloud storage provider becomes inaccessible, what options do customers have for recovering their data or pursuing assistance?

If you’ve had a similar experience or have any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate hearing from you.

    Thank you.
