Need Help: TotalDrive Cloud Storage Appears Unreachable and My Data Is Trapped
I’m trying to determine whether anyone else is experiencing problems with TotalDrive cloud storage and whether there is any way to recover data stored there.
I signed up for a one-year TotalDrive cloud storage plan in July 2025 after hearing about a promotional offer. I didn’t begin actively using the service until October 2025, when I started moving files off an older Windows 10 computer.
Everything worked normally for several months. Then, around mid-March 2026, I noticed red “X” symbols appearing on files associated with my TotalDrive account. Shortly afterward, I lost access to all of my cloud-stored data.
Since then, I have been unable to access the service. Login attempts fail, synchronization no longer works, and I frequently receive SSL/security warnings when trying to reach the website. I’ve also had no success contacting customer support. Emails go unanswered, and I have been unable to find any reliable way to reach the company.
The account contains important personal documents and irreplaceable family photos, so I’m extremely concerned.
My questions are:
-
Is anyone else experiencing the same issue with TotalDrive?
-
Have you been able to recover your files or contact support?
-
Are there any tools, methods, or steps I can take to determine whether my data still exists on their servers?
-
If a cloud storage provider becomes inaccessible, what options do customers have for recovering their data or pursuing assistance?
If you’ve had a similar experience or have any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate hearing from you.
Thank you.
