I need to replace my aging Windows 10 desktop (it is not upgradeable to 11). While I have done some research, I have become weary and overwhelmed trying to understand all the technical choices, such as, chips & versions, etc. I hope I can get some direction and recommendations. Here are my primary uses for this computer:
      1. Windows Office Suite applications
      2. Creation, editing, and producing educational training videos
      3. Creation and editing of images for use in videos and other materials
      4. Online conferencing and live-stream presentations
      5. Creating, editing, and maintaining websites for my videos and materials.
My current computer, an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.40GHz, 16.0 GB RAM, and a 450 GB hard drive (95% used), allows for dual HDMI monitors, two webcams, and one camcorder used as a webcam. It also has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capability.

While I appreciate Apple products, I have been a PC person since I bought my first DOS computer. I am not interested in changing at this point.

Before I retired, I had my desktops custom-built by a company using quality components. Now, having relocated, I must venture into the retail world. I have reviewed some brands I am familiar with online that would seem to have the specs necessary for my needs, but, as I said, it’s all a bit overwhelming.
I’m looking for the best quality for less than $2,000. Since I’m 74, this will probably be the last computer I buy. I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to be morbid; I was being a realist.

      Hello Mike,

After searching for a decent workstation that meets your needs I have come up with this Dell XPS 8960, it has 16GB of DDR5 Ram, 512Gb SSD + 2TB HDD for storage and a graphics card that will make video editing & rendering much faster.
