Jan from Birmingham is building a pool at her beach house in Florida (nice!). She needs a way to get Wi-Fi to the outdoor cameras.

Here is the extender I recommend:

Kim, I received the EXTENDER. All I have to do is plug it in and it works? It doesn’t need to be connected to my Netgear Modem at all? HOPING that is the case. Thank you!

Thanks! I couldn’t figure out what plugged into the EAP 😳 Do I need the Shielded CAT5e Cable or NO? Maybe the Grounded 3-wire Power Outlet takes care of Lightening and ESD Protection? Thanks!….maybe this is the last of my questions…ha!

Kim! I took it literally that all I had to do was plug this in below:

TP-Link Omada AC1200 Wireless Gigabit Outdoor Access Point | Business WiFi Solution w/ Mesh Support, Seamless Roaming & MU-MIMO | PoE Powered | SDN Integrated | Cloud Access & App (EAP225-Outdoor)

After reading I think I need a CAT5e cable…also do I need to download that OMADA APP and connect it to my Wi-Fi ?

If I could write one of your techy people that’d be GREAT.
Headed out to find the cable now here at the beach.

      Thank you !
