PCMatic is crashing the internet consistently on one of three PCs….no information and PCMatic tech support has given up. One reason I have PCMatic is to avoid such problem, yet here it is—PCMatic IS the problem. PC (Windows 11) is working fine otherwise.

Are all 3 PC’s running Windows 11? Tell us about the hardware of the computer that’s crashing, when does it crash and what, if any, errors are reported?

And of course, turn your VPN off and test. I used to recommend Webroot, but since OpenText bought them, it is my opinion that their security software suffered. They certainly slacked off in their Smart Phone offerings. Since then, I’ve been recommending BitDefender, and perhaps Sophos at less money, who easily has the best free Android security software, although you can more easily solve that issue by switching to Apple, as their IOS on phones and iPads is immune to viruses. Other than Security Software, I’ve been recommending Swiss-based, privacy-protected Proton Mail and the rest of their suite, as I no longer trust our government after the Biden Administration.
