Problem in Windows Live Mail
I’m hoping someone here can help – don’t know where else to turn since Microsoft no longer supports Windows Live Mail.
I’ve used WLM for years with no issues; however, recently I changed my password at ATT.com, which also changes the password for Yahoo mail (so I’m told). I’m having no issues with the web version of Yahoo mail, or with the Yahoo account in Windows mail (both using the new password); but suddenly, the Yahoo account at WLM stopped working. I’ve tried changing the Yahoo password in WLM several times and tried deleting the Yahoo account there and reinstalling – all to no avail. WLM keeps telling me I’m using the wrong password; BTW both Outlook and Gmail are still working fine in WLM.

Which email settings are populating when you try to add the account ATT server settings or Yahoo settings?
Which email address are you using when you try to log in on WLM user@att.net or user@yahoo.com.
Lastly, you may want to try to use the Windows Mail app if you are using Windows 10 instead of WLM to see if that makes any difference.
