I have a rather large contact on my Samsung phone. It contains over 6000 individual contacts. Now that I’m no longer working, I find that I no longer need that many contacts. I bet I can reduce it down to 100 or less, but I’m finding that it’s quite a task to go one by one through the list to eliminate those that I no longer need. I just can’t find a way. I tried to export the Verizon contact list into a spreadsheet, delete the ones I don’t need and then import it back into the phone contacts. That didn’t work, as several of the original contacts didn’t export. Thoughts, ideas, suggestions welcomed.
Hello Michael West,
You should import all of your contacts to your Google mail account, then manage them from the web contacts.google.com.com, be sure you export all of your mail contacts before cleaning the up.
How to sync contacts to a Google account
How to manage your Google contacts from the web.
As your contacts are now synced, whatever changes you make on contacts.google.com will sync wit your Samsung contacts.
Best of luck.
Thanks.
