I am looking for a remote control webcam for church service that does not use IR for the handheld controller since it only works at a direction pointing to the IR receiver on the equipment so maybe bluetooth which would be used well within 30 feet of the camera. Also remembering set positions/zoom settings after being turned off and used next. Also with optical zoom, pan, tilt capability and posibly either USB or HDMI connection to laptop. This would be used with Zoom Webinars. We would use a separate wireless audio sending unit to a audio receiving to the laptop.

    Hello northbear,

The remote control is just so handy when using saved presets, tap or click here for a wireless IR solution that you might be able to use with your existing setup.

Regarding a camera with WiFi remote functionality, I recommend the PTZOptics 20x – USB get2 Full HD Broadcast and Conference. if you use your cell phone or a tablet to log into the camera Web Gui or use the PTZ Optics app.

As long as both devices are on the same network, tablet & camera you can then Remote control the Pan, Tilt, Zoom functionality as well as some other settings.
