    Transferring I tunes

    have a MacBook Pro and I have not upgraded it to the point that I lose I tunes, where I have a heap of music I imported by purchased CD’s.

    I want to share these with my I pad.
    I can send individual tracks by e mail or message but want to Import more tunes to my I pad. Newer OS (15)

    I put the tunes into a folder on my desktop and imported them to my I cloud drive (for which I have adequate storage. ) But I cannot retrieve it on my I pad.

    would someone be able to help me?
