Alishia from Kansas City, Missouri is looking for apps she can use on Boost Mobile to monitor her kids’ text messages and Snapchat logs. In the past, she tried to download free phone tracker apps from one of my articles, but it didn’t work with her device.

Luckily, I know of two apps with parental controls she should check out: BarkParent and Qustodio.

Qustodio is compatible with several popular social media platforms, while Bark covers an impressive 24 different platforms. Qustodio keeps parents up to date by sending an email outlining their child’s online activity and behavior. Parents can choose to receive this report daily or weekly.

I also advised her to take advantage of the Kid’s Tech Contract. This is an agreement you sign with your kids so they can stay safe when they browse the web. I put it together as a way for parents to set clear boundaries — and to teach kids the responsibilities of digital citizenship.
