Two ways to set up a security camera on your driveway
Dennis from Traverse City, Michigan needs a security camera at the end of his driveway. He wants to see who is coming up — but his driveway is long and not close to his internet.
I told him hard wire would be the best solution. I recommend a POE injector to power the camera and transmit data. I also told Dennis to check out the Reolink Security IP camera.
If he’d prefer a wireless solution, he should grab a Reolink camera with 4G LTE capability. It also comes with a solar panel with a battery. Buy one here. Just keep in mind that you’ll need a SIM card with an active data plan.
The Ubiquiti wireless extender is also worth checking out.
