  Upgrade Windows 11 Home to Pro

  I am looking to upgrade windows 11 Home to Pro.

  I am trying to find out
  Which is the best way to go about this.
  a. Retail – upgrade
  b. Retail – new

  I have searched the internet and came up with buying or upgrade cost. Either I am wording the search incorrectly and if so, how should the search be stated?

  This is a new laptop which came with windows 11 Home.
  I have no problem with re-installing existing software.

  So the question is if buying NEW, can I use it as upgrade?
  Or do I have to do a clean install?

  I believe Retail –new is the better way to go.
