I have two Windows 10 laptops connected to the same router. I’d like to be able to access the files of one laptop from the other. I could do it when I used W7 but not now.
How do I get the laptops configured to be able to work on one laptop’s files from the other laptop?

More recent versions of Windows 10 have remove the homegroup options. You can still share a folder or file by right clicking and selecting share, it will ask with what users and give you a share name. From the other computer you can then navigate to the share name to access these files. Most of the time now the more convenient solution is to use OneDrive, DropBox or Google Drive, this way you can access the files at anytime from any location. Most have a free tier to see if it is the right solution for you.
