What to do when your investment site shuts down and your money’s gone
Judy from Duluth, Georgia invested $625 into an ETF site called Veono.org. Now she’s in a pickle: Veono changed its domain name — and the site doesn’t work. This means she can’t access her money.
Her son is in an even worse position. He invested $15,000. He tried to contact the site, but nobody responded to his emails.
I told Judy to file a complaint with the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center, or IC3 for short. Tap or click here to file a complaint.
