Windows sign in with pin not available
I have a Windows 11 laptop that, on one of my accounts, prompts me only for a password. There is no option to enter a pin, which I’ve been doing for years. I can’t remember the password, or my answers to the security questions (middle name of oldest cousin, etc.) to reset the password. I have access to some features via another administrator account on the laptop. Any ideas?

If you log into the accout with Administor Permissions go to Control Panel “User Accounts”. From there go to Manage Another Account and you should be able to change the password of the account you don’t remember any longer. Once you can get into that account you should be able to create a PIN.
Get yourself a good password manager program to remember all your passwords for you.
