Marilyn from Beverly Hills, California wants to set up a camera in her horse’s stall. She doesn’t want a camera that needs the internet or electricity. There is a plug she can use in the stall, so she asked for cameras that could work with batteries and connect to her phone.

I pointed her towards the Nest outdoor camera. She would just need to buy a separate SIM card and a data plan for the camera from a supported service provider.

CoverageMap by RootMetrics is a great cellphone signal provider. T-Mobile provides 2GB of data for $10/month, so I recommend starting there.
